Our goal is to empowers families by providing knowledge rooted in tradition and evidence-based care,  transforming fear into confidence, while helping parents navigate the birth journey with trust in their bodies and the natural process of childbirth.

Our Class offerings include:

Body, Mind, Spirit: Preparing for Physiological Birth and Postpartum

this childbirth class is designed to holistically prepare you for both the birth and postpartum journey, aligning your body, mind, and spirit with the natural process. Rooted in traditional practices and evidence-based care, this class empowers you with tools and knowledge to navigate physiological birth with confidence. We focus on body awareness, emotional well-being, and spiritual preparation, helping you connect deeply with yourself and your baby. You'll also learn about postpartum healing and recovery, ensuring that your transition into parenthood is supported in a way that nurtures your whole being. This class is ideal for those seeking a more grounded, informed, and connected birth and postpartum experience, and are planning and out of hospital birth. It includes:

Understanding Physiological Birth:

  • The natural stages of labor and birth without medical interventions.

  • How the body works during labor, including the role of hormones and the body’s natural mechanisms.

Body Awareness & Movement:

  • Positions for labor and birth that encourage optimal fetal positioning.

  • Techniques for pain management, including breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and natural coping strategies.

  • Using movement, gravity, and comfort measures to support labor progression.

Emotional and Mental Preparation:

  • Techniques for managing fear, anxiety, and stress during labor.

  • Mindfulness and meditation practices to enhance emotional resilience.

  • Partner support and creating a positive birth environment.

Spiritual and Cultural Connections:

  • Understanding the spiritual aspects of birth, rooted in personal and cultural traditions.

  • The importance of creating a sacred space and honoring the transition to parenthood.

Role of the Birth Partner:

  • How birth partners can offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support during labor.

  • Practical ways partners can assist with comfort measures and advocate for the birthing person's preferences.

Postpartum Recovery:

  • Preparing for postpartum healing, including physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery.

  • Postpartum traditions, such as cuarentena and nurturing postpartum rituals.

 This is a four hour class, offered privately or in a group setting. $200.00​

​​​​​Spinning Babies® Parent Class

 

This class highlights your baby’s active role to rotate down and out of the pelvis. Learn techniques to help muscles in your pelvis support an easier birth. During labor, the baby turns through three levels of the pelvis. Together, you and your birth partner can use these techniques before and during labor to help “make room for baby!” Spinning Babies reveals how the baby can find optimal positions for labor allowing birth to be more comfortable.

This class is for expectant parents only. Professionals are invited in the Spinning Babies® Workshop. The class topics include: 

  • Baby position: How to tell what position the baby is in, and how to help the baby move into the best position for birth 

  • Fetal rotation: How the baby turns through the pelvis during labor 

  • Body balancing: Activities to help balance the body during pregnancy and labor  

  • Labor positions: Positions to engage the baby in early labor, or to shorten labor 

  • Stretches: Stretches to do during pregnancy and labor

This is a three hour class offered privately or in a group setting. $175.00
